EVENT: SE Junior Olympic Qualifier Camp

SKILL LEVEL: Open to all skill levels of kids (through age 18) that will
be racing in the AAU SouthEast Junior Olympic Qualifier race on Saturday
July 19, 1997.
CHECK IN: 8:00am-at the NOC Pavilion by the Bridge Gates-Wednesday, July
28
CAMP SCHEDULE: (Note: Specific schedules will be given at the Wednesday
morning meeting)

Wednesday-Thursday 9am-4pm Training Bridge/Lake
REGISTRATION: Call or e-mail Wayner by Tuesday, July 15. Pay during
check-in on Wednesday morning. You need to tell him how many days you will
be attending the camp.
ENTRY FEE:
Coaching $10/day (one day of coaching if fine, but priority will be
given to athletes signing up for more than one day.
Lodging Package None (see additional info for lodging/camping options
Meal Package None (NOC has three restaurants on site plus
cooking facilities.)
MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED: USCKT (for insurance purposes) we will have forms
available for athletes that are currently not members.
CLASSES: Decked boats: Men's Kayak (K1), Women's Kayak (K1W), Men's Solo
Canoe (C1), and Tandem Canoe (C2). Note: The C2 category is open to two
boys, a boy and a girl or even two girls in a boat together.
TRAINING AREAS:
Nantahala bridge gates (class II), Tuckaseigee River gates (class II),
Fontana Lake (flatwater).
